Awesome Ocelot of the Month

Anthony Sanchez

About Me...

I am a 8th Grader at Orange Grove. I love to go to the pool with my friends. My favorite subject is Social Studies because you learn new things about history. I love my Mom and Aunts because they motivate me and are always by my side. My favorite sport is Football and I enjoy playing it because I think it makes me a better person.

Outside of OGMS, You Can Find Me...

Eating at In-N-Out, my favorite place to eat. I also like to go to the park with my friends as well as swimming at my friend's house.

I LOVE Being an Awesome Ocelot Because...

It makes me feel like I am at home. I love the positive vibes and encouragement I receive to achieve at anything I do in school. Teachers support me, push me to do well, and make it a safe place to learn.

My Personal Background...

I grew up in Hacienda Heights and attended Newton Middle School and Los Altos High School. I was a performer at Disneyland for 6 years. I taught at Wilson High School for the last 20 years and various elementary, middle and high schools before that. My wife teaches at Wilson High School and my two children attend Grazide Elementary School.

Outside of OGMS, You Can Find Me...

Judging field shows in the fall and color guard shows and music festivals in the winter and spring. I also try to spend as much time with my family as I can.

I LOVE Being an Awesome Ocelot Because...

The students and staff are close-knit. Being a relatively small community (compared to high school where I taught most of my career), you get to learn more about the students and staff.
