Dream Big. Work Hard. Celebrate Success!

It's a Great Day to Be an Ocelot!

Awesome Ocelot of the Month

Isabella "Nikki" Gigante

Isabella “Nikki” Gigante values the accomplishments of her parents and uses their immigrant story from the Philippines to the United States to motivate her to be a straight A student. Nikki wants to study medicine at the University of California, Irvine or the University of California, Berkley.

Nikki’s favorite subjects are science and English/Language Arts.  She excels in every class she takes and recently received the Golden Ruler Award in math because she exudes strong leadership in school, is a model math student, and works collaboratively with her peers. A straight A student and a member of Orange Grove’s ASB, Nikki competes in figure skating competitions throughout the year and still maintains a strong, academic work ethic.  Nikki is highly regarded by her teachers and peers, and Orange Grove is proud to have her as part of the Ocelot Tradition of Success!

 Mrs. Rosalie Tecumseh

My Personal Background

I received my Bachelor's Degree from UC San Diego, then a Master’s Degree in Business from USC, and a Master’s Degree from Claremont in Teaching. I have an adorable five-year old son and an amazing husband. I have been teaching science for about 12 years, 10 of those years at OGMS. I love to travel and hike and my favorite place in the world is Yosemite National Park.

Outside of OGMS... can find me hiking the local mountains with my son and husband.

I LOVE Being an Awesome Ocelot Because...

...students embrace their “inner science nerdiness.”  It is wonderful to see my students excited about something as boring as an atom! I have many bright and kind students, and I work with hilarious Ocelot teachers. What else can I ask for?
